On March 2, 2020, in Toronto, at the Metro Toronto Convention Center, the first ever Kazakhstan Day presentation session, organized by Aurora Minerals Group, was successfully held as part of the Kazakhstan delegation’s participation in the global investment tour - Investment Roadshow 2020. Kazakhstan Day became the highlight of the Roadshow program.

The venue for the event was the PDAC 2020 exhibition, the largest international conference of mining and exploration companies, which is annually attended by more than 30,000 people from more than 135 countries.

The purpose of the event is to attract investment in the mining industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to highlight the prospects of the Kazakhstan market of mineral resources and new opportunities for investors and business.

During the session, the themes covered were the development of the mining potential of our country, improvements in the local legislation, successes of introducing innovative technologies in geological exploration of Kazakhstan, and the challenges to be addressed when entering the Kazakhstan market.

The speakers at the Kazakhstan Day event included Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Ruslan Baimishev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Canada - Akylbek Kamaldinov, partners of the Aurora Minerals Group - Kaisar Kozhamuratov and Said Sultanov, Chairman of the Board of JSC «NGK Tau-Ken Samruk» - Qanat Qudaibergen, Rio Tinto Exploration Director in Africa and Eurasia region - Kenneth Tainton, Technical Director of the international consulting company RPA-SLR - Deborah McCombe, Project Director of JSC “NC Kazakh Invest” - Dilyara Tektigulova, CEO of Danish Geophysical Company SkyTEM - Flemming Efferso, President of Canadian geophysical company Dias Geophysical - Jonathan Rudd, founding Shareholder and Managing Director of QED drilling - Alan Blackley, Kazakhstan honorary consul in Toronto and founder of Forbes & Manhattan investment company - Stan Bharti, partner of Haller Lomax company - Timur Odilov.

Aurora Minerals Group, represented by partner, Said Sultanov, gave a presentation on the development concept and current structural organization of the Aurora group of companies, presenting a number of promising exploration projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as tools that the company uses to stimulate investment activity in Kazakhstan.
