Field works are in full swing

NovaDrilling LLP a subsidiary drilling company of Aurora Minerals Group actively started drilling operations with two Boyles-C6 drill rigs made by Epiroc. All drilling rigs are mounted in mobile shelter units that allows drilling in any weather conditions. The total drilling meters for this year’s field work amounts to more than 24,000 meters in North Kazakhstan and West Kazakhstan regions. The drilled holes will undergo well-logging survey by two Vulcan V3 logging units, applying number of studies including inclinometry, resistivity, spontaneous potential and gamma-ray logging.

Furthermore, in the coming weeks NovaDrilling LLP expects the arrival of two more Epiroc Boyles C-6 drilling rigs, totaling a fleet of four new drill rigs.

From May 1, Aurora Minerals Group LLP, at the request of Kazzinc LLP, commenced geochemical sampling survey in Kokshetau area (Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions). The work is carried out by three teams of geologists in accordance with high health and safety standards and environmental protection.

NovaDrilling LLP a subsidiary drilling company of Aurora Minerals Group is working on developing electronic database for Kazakhstan Aluminum JSC, a subsidiary of Eurasian Resource Group (ERG). The project on digitizing geological data archives includes the analysis of geological archives, digitization of paper materials, data systematization and setting up single information reference system for geological data management.

The information system will allow Kazakhstan Aluminum JSC to have fast and remote access to all geological data, streamline its application, and also allow for the long-term preservation of original geological materials for future use.
