Uzbekistan, Tashkent - NA Podrobno.uz. Kazakhstan companies specializing in geological exploration are ready to work in Uzbekistan. This was announced by Kaisar Kozhamuratov - General Director of the Australian- Kazakhstan company "Aurora Minerals Group" at the X International Conference "Uzgeoinvest-2017".

"Uzbekistan has always been interesting to us in terms of geological exploration, because of its numerous large deposits. Therefore, investors have always been interested and in the light of the recent positive developments in the country, we came here to explore the potential of the country. In future, we are ready to enter the Uzbekistan market and provide our services to potential customers", stated Kaisar Kozhamuratov.

In addition, the head of "Aurora Minerals Group" noted that clients of his company are more interested in projects in the field of mining for precious, non-ferrous metals and polymetals.

At the same time, according to the State Balance of Mineral Reserves, as of 1 January 2017, 1931 deposits were discovered in Uzbekistan, including 1043 deposits discovered during the years of its independence. Goscomgeology of the Republic of Uzbekistan duly issued 1014 licenses for the right to mine to subsoil users. Currently, foreign investors are offered 29 deposits and 111 prospective areas of solid minerals by government decision. These include 12 deposits and 31 prospective areas for precious metals (gold, silver), 18 non-ferrous metals (copper, lead, and zinc), 14 deposits and 51 areas of rare and rare earth metals and uranium.
