Tulus / Astana December 2017 - Airbus Defence and Space has signed a 3-year contract with the Australian-Kazakhstan company, Aurora Minerals Group LLP, for the distribution of its satellite data and value-added products in Kazakhstan.
Aurora Minerals Group LLP is specializing in the transfer of new technologies and attracting investments in the mining industry of Kazakhstan.
The agreement brings together global coverage and the latest technologies of Airbus Defence and Space with Aurora's customer base in the subsoil of Kazakhstan and will provide access to Airbus standard and advanced products and services derived from optical and radar satellite and aerial imagery. Aurora, in turn, will promote and distribute products and services and / or use of such products and services for the development, production, promotion and distribution of value-added products in Kazakhstan.

A team of dedicated experts will be available for Aurora in Airbus, which will support at all stages of projects, including consultancy and software installation, technical support, maintenance and on-site training.

Within the framework of Article 70 of the draft Mining Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aurora Minerals Group LLP jointly with Airbus is able to offer solutions for remote sensing of the Earth from space, to ensure rational management of the state subsoil fund and to timely identify their changes, assess, prevent and eliminate the consequences of negative processes.
