Aurora Quest Services is pleased to announce the expansion of its reverse circulation (RC) drilling services in Kazakhstan. The company has been steadily developing its RC drilling business and has achieved several significant successes. With its state-of-the-art drilling rig, the Explorac E-100, the company can offer drilling services with exceptional accuracy and efficiency.

The drilling rig - Explorac E-100, which was commissioned in 2021 and has only been in operation for two seasons, can drill RC holes ranging from 110 mm to 150 mm. The high drilling speed of the rig allows for more than 250 meters of daily drilling, making it one of the most efficient rigs on the market. Sample separation can be done using a Metzke, Johnson, or cone splitter, ensuring reliable and accurate sample analysis for determining mineralogical and chemical composition.

Aurora Quest Services is committed to providing its clients with safe, efficient, and high-quality drilling services. The company's highly trained professionals are dedicated to ensuring that each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. In addition to RC drilling, the company also offers core drilling, directional drilling, and geotechnical drilling services.

In conclusion, Aurora Quest Services is proud to offer its RC drilling services in Kazakhstan and Central Asia and is committed to helping its clients achieve their goals using safe, efficient, and high-quality drilling services.

Note: RC (Reverse Circulation) drilling is a method used in mineral exploration to obtain samples of the earth's subsurface. It is a faster and less expensive alternative to traditional diamond drilling.

In RC drilling, a dual-wall drill pipe is used, with the outer pipe serving as the rod string and the inner pipe as the air passage. Air is forced down the inner pipe and exits through nozzles in the drill bit, which creates a high-velocity air stream that lifts cuttings from the bottom of the hole to the surface. The cuttings are collected in a cyclone at the surface, where the heavy mineral particles are separated from the air stream and captured for analysis.

RC drilling has several advantages over other drilling methods, including faster drilling speeds, reduced costs, and less drilling waste. It is also suitable for drilling in shallow overburden, high groundwater, or difficult geology, where other methods may not be feasible.

Overall, RC drilling is an essential tool in mineral exploration, allowing geologists and mining companies to gather information quickly and effectively about the subsurface and make informed decisions about the viability of a mineral deposit.
